Telia Company said it is replacing its unlimited roaming service in the Nordic and Baltic regions with ‘Roaming Europa’. Customers will be able to use the internet in the European Union and European Economic Area (EEA) for the same price as they would at home. At the same time, it is responding to demand by providing larger monthly mobile allowances with some subscriptions, but it is raising the price by SEK 30.
Most subscriptions offer 20 GB of mobile internet per month, which Telia said will now be usable within Europe under Roaming Europa. It added that those with Telia Mobil Komplett subscriptions can also take advantage of zero-rated use of the social networks Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, Whatsapp, Twitter, Kik, Pinterest, Viber, LINE och Welcome App.
Turning to the greater monthly allowances, it said every subscription with at least 1 GB per month allowance will get a 50 percent increase in data or more. It said it would release more information shortly.
