Haradinaj said that the organization of this summit is a very important step to advance the vision for integration and cooperation between the Balkan countries and the European digital market.
“Kosovo considers that information technology and communication are extremely important for economic development. We are committed to accessing ICT and, in cooperation with the World Bank, are preparing the CODE program and we are confident that the Balkan Digital Highëay initiative will further strengthen regional cooperation. What is important to our economy is that our government is working to have regional coordination for a free economic zone in roaming and in cooperation with the Western Balkan countries, Kosovo has initiated the initiative for the Regional Roaming Agreement, ” he said.
Haradinaj said that an advanced information policy and infrastructure for Information and Information Technology was established in Kosovo.
He indicated that about 86 percent of Kosovo residents have access to the telephone network and 3G or 4G Internet networks.
