Orange Spain adds 4G coverage to more high-speed train lines

Orange Spain announced the completion of a project to bring 4G coverage to several more lines of the high-speed AVE train service.

The operator said the new LTE infrastructure is now available on the:

Madrid – Valencia
Madrid – Barcelona
Madrid – Valladolid
Cordoba – Malaga
Madrid- Albacete

trajectories, allowing Orange customers to access video feeds on their smartphones, tablets or PCs and to have uninterrupted telephone conversations even in tunnels and at speeds of more than 300 km per hour.

According to the company , six out of ten customer interactions with Orange already occur in digital channels and its ‘My Orange’ app already records more than 3 million operations per month. That is why he has decided to renew it and provide it with more functions , such as the integration of the loyalty program or an invoice comparator for different months.

Until now, the My Orange’ application allowed, among other functions, to consult voice and data consumption, view invoices interactively, review the contracted plan, activate and deactivate some services, manage and recharge the balance, or view information about the contracted Orange TV packages

In addition to including an improved identification process (login) with access by fingerprint or without a password (via Mobile Connect), one of the main novelties is the integration of the ‘Ser de Orange’ loyalty program in the app itself. In this way, the user can more easily access the discounts, advantages and gifts he has for being a customer.

The renewed Mi Orange app also offers an improved graphic view of invoiced concepts and a comparator between invoices of different months and lines , as well as the possibility of distributing megabytes between the lines of the same contract.

Thanks to this update, if you need to go to an Orange store , the customer can locate the nearest establishment and request your turn in a simple way, thus avoiding waiting times to be attended.

And finally, for autonomous customers, the app now offers a new contract administrator profile , which validates requests for access to services or features of the app, and allows you to manage the different services of your lines in real time.
