Uzbek operator Mobiuz announces that it has stopped charging for eSim’s and eSIM connection is now free.

To use the service, a new subscriber must contact the Company’s personal office with a device that supports eSIM technology and an identity document to conclude a contract on the provision of mobile communication services.

Also, existing Mobiuz subscribers can exchange their standard type SIM card for eSIM by visiting the Company’s offices in person. For this, the subscriber needs to bring with him a device that supports eSIM technology and an identity document, which he plans to use eSIM. A standard (previous) SIM card replaced by an eSIM will stop working.

• Legal entities (or individual entrepreneurs) should apply to the Company’s personal office with a set of documents necessary to conclude an agreement on the provision of Mobile communication services to use the service:
• The original copy of the application for connection (on the Mobiuz sample form or organization-specific work form);
• Copy of Certificate of Registration (Certificate);
• A copy of the State Registration Certificate as a VAT payer;
• The original copy of the passport of the head of the enterprise or a trusted person (a copy of the head’s passport is required);
• Power of attorney in the name of the authorized representative.

How much does it cost to connect to an eSIM ? mobiuz esim

Connection price ( for the entire Republic ): free of charge.

The cost of replacing a SIM card with an eSIM and the cost of replacing an eSIM with an eSIM is 5,000 soums.

To change the SIM card to an eSIM, you need to come to the Company’s office with an identity document.

The SIM card can be changed only at the personal request of the subscriber with whom the contract for the provision of mobile communication services has been concluded.

Attention! QR-code of eSIM profile is intended for one-time use in order to protect subscriber’s personal data , it is not possible to use it repeatedly.

If the subscriber is a legal entity, the replacement of the SIM card is carried out on the basis of an official letter. If the subscriber’s legal representative applies on behalf of the subscriber, the SIM card will be replaced on the basis of a power of attorney describing certain rights and actions given by the trustee in accordance with the applicable laws of the Republic of Uzbekistan. In such cases, the authorized representative must present his/her passport along with the original copy of the power of attorney.

The price of “Restore number” service on eSIM is 21,000 soums

To restore the eSIM number, it is necessary to come to the Company’s office with an identity document.

The number will be restored only when the subscriber with whom the contract for the provision of Mobile communication services is signed personally applies.

The price of the “Number recovery” service is 21,000 soums.

“Number restoration” service is performed by concluding a new Agreement with the subscriber.

The subscriber has no authority to transfer the right to use this service to another person.

“Number recovery” service can be used only by the subscriber whose subscriber number was registered before the last termination of the contract. Number restoration is carried out only in the name of the person to whom the subscriber number belonged until the termination of the subscription contract. The number can be restored on the basis of a notarized power of attorney issued by a person to his representative. The power of attorney must include the subscription number and the name of the service.

Price of “Change of number owner” service with eSIM:

1. In the event that the subscriber applies for registration of the number in the name of the new owner, the price of the “Change the owner of the number” service is equal to 21,000 soums, provided that the number was previously connected to the eSIM and the subscriber uses the device from which the profile was previously downloaded;

2. When the subscriber applies for registration of the number in the name of the new owner, and the subscriber wants to download the eSIM profile to another device, replace it with a new one using the “SIM card replacement” service (since the profile is one-time and invalid (when re-registration from eSIM to eSIM), the new eSIM profile will be downloaded).
