Glo Mobile Ghana has introduced a number of new products. The firm launched a Voice and Data offer, Double Double, which doubles the subscriber’s credit on all recharges with free data, and a Data offer that delivers benefits to people who auto-renew their data subscriptions. glo ghana

With Glo Double Double, subscribers on the network can recharge GHc1 and get another GHc1 instantly for Glo to Glo calls, in addition, they get to a free 50MB Data to browse. A GHc5 recharge gets another GHc5 as in the bonus account and a 250MB free data.

Similarly, a GHc20 recharge gives the subscriber a bonus credit of GHc20 and 1GB data. valid for 20 days. While it is the default plan for new subscribers, existing subscribers can dial *2019# or *555# to migrate to the new offer.

There are in addition new Ghana-Nigeria packs, which enable Glo Mobile subscribers to call or roam in Nigeria and also get benefits on their lines in Ghana.

Glo introduces Unlimited Voice & Data 24/7 Pack

Glo Mobile launched a revolutionary data plan, Glo Unlimited Data 24/7 Pack, which gives unlimited data and voice combo to its subscribers for a whole month at a modest price of GHc300.

Unveiling the pack to an enthusiastic crowd at the venue of its flagship concert, the Glo Mega Music, held at the Fantasy Dome, Trade Fair Center, La, Accra on Saturday evening, Glo’s Regional Chief Marketing Officer, Mr. Ashok Israni, said that the product “remains the first of its kind in the entire continent of Africa”.

According to him, “This is an unlimited offer from an unlimited network. It is not just unlimited, but it is equally affordable because with as low as GHc300, a subscriber gets unlimited data and access to the internet 24/7 for a full month in addition to free Glo-Glo calls for 30 days and 300 minutes off net free calls to any network of the subscriber’s choice”.

In addition to the new pack, Israni also announced that the network had revised its data bundle plans by giving a 100% bonus on data on all data plans.

Explaining the 100 percent bonus, he said, for example, that the “daily data plan of GHc3 which hitherto gave 175MB data for three days now gives 300MB data for three days, while the weekly plan GHc10 of 850MB for 10 days now offers 1.7GB data for 30 days”.

For a GHc15 data pack that used to have 1.5GB data, the new data accruable to the subscriber is now 3GB, while a GHc30 subscription that used to deliver 3.2GB data now delivers a whopping 7.2GB data. Similarly, a GHc40 subscription, hitherto with a 4GB data value, now has 10GB data on offer from Glo.
