It has a database of all of the passports in the world and offers travel information for them as well as a global ranking of passports. Passport Index also offers suggestions on how you can improve your Global Mobility Score by obtaining an additional passport (presuming that’s something available to you).

The site’s passports index allows you to sort passports by country, region, location on a map, or color, and then compare them side-by-side to each other as well as how welcoming countries are by destination.

For instance, the United Arab Emirates  actually has the most powerful passport in the world with a Visa-Free Score on the site of 168. In comparison, Afghanistan is pulling up the rear in last place with a score of 30.

The United States has a Visa-Free score of 165, putting in a tier with Ireland, Japan, Norway, and France as the 4th most powerful passports out there, based on their visa-free score. Travel visa free
