Smart Travel is a travel insurance policy that provides medical care abroad, organization and payment of medical care. The purpose of the trip, covered by the policy, includes sightseeing, recreation and amateur sports, training, beach holidays, as well as intellectual work.

The policy allows you to remotely take out insurance for a trip abroad, without having to contact the office of the insurance company. Vodafone prepaid customers can subscribe to the service on the Vodafone website for free at any time and activate it in a few clicks just before traveling abroad. The service is activated within 1 minute without the need to provide personal data.

The program’s partner, ARX, issues about 1,500 online travel insurance policies online each month. These figures continue to grow, as the insurance covers the provision of emergency medical care for diseases associated with particularly dangerous infections, including COVID-19. This includes diagnosis of the disease using tests in the presence of symptoms of respiratory disease and treatment within the insurance limit.

Payment will be deducted only for days of actual stay outside Ukraine. Insurance can be issued even for one day. Vodafone subscription customers now have the option to pay for insurance from a mobile account – for all days of stay or for certain days of their choice. Card payment is also available for all days of stay – both for subscription subscribers and for contract customers.

The sum insured is 30,000 euros . The cost of insurance payment is from 25 hryvnias per day , depending on the country of stay.
