Viettel Telecom has announced plans to slash its roaming rate up to 80 percent for calls, texts and data for its subscribers to five Asian countries during Viet Nam’s National Day to meet the increasing travel demand. Viettel roaming app

The fee reduction applies two data packages in five countries including Japan, Thailand, South Korea, Singapore and Malaysia, which are in the top 20 most favourite destinations voted on by Vietnamese people in 2017.

The packages will be applied from August 28 and used within 10 to 15 days. Accordingly, customers can have 1GB data used for 15 days in South Korea, Thailand, Singapore and Malaysia when registering for the DR500 package for VND500,000.

The DR350 package is applied for 500MD data over 10 days of roaming in Japan.
