Qatar Duty Free (QDF) has partnered L’Oréal Travel Retail to launch a luxury Beauty Avenue at Hamad International Airport (HIA). beauty avenue hamad airport

The avenue, located behind the iconic Lamp Bear at the heart of the airport’s shopping plaza, features four of the global beauty giant’s hero brands: Lancôme; Giorgio Armani; Helena Rubinstein; and Yves Saint Laurent.

Inspired by the avenues of the city of Paris, Beauty Avenue houses a replica marble arch at its centre through which travellers are invited to explore each of the four branded zones. The eye-catching podium also features shop front canopies and displays that showcase products from each.

The iconic L’Oréal Beauty Avenue has pride of place in the heart of the busiest retail space at HIA.

“This is the fourth time that L’Oréal Travel Retail has transformed this premium area into a beautiful pavilion where travellers can discover and shop some of the most iconic L’Oréal brands.”

In 2018, Qatar Duty-Free launched the L’Oréal Grand Hotel Podium, which featured Yves Saint Laurent, Giorgio Armani/Privé Haute Couture Fragrances, Ralph Lauren and Maison Margiela.

In April, Qatar Duty Free was named Airport Retail Operation of the Year serving more than 30 million passengers annually at the DFNI-Frontier EMEA Awards 2019.
