MTS launches new roaming option

Russian mobile operator MTS has introduced a new roaming option to customers using its Zabugorishche roaming service.
Subscribers can choose one number on any Russian network for unlimited outgoing and incoming calls when traveling abroad.

The tariff “MTS zabugorishche” offers users attractive conditions. Subscribers of “Zabugorishche” receive favorable tariffs for payment of calls and web traffic while traveling abroad. In addition, in roaming the cost of all the services provided will not change, but will be spent according to the tariff plan. Charging minutes, SMS and quotas of web traffic occurs weekly.

Thus, being abroad, the client will continue to use the minutes of calls and gigabytes of traffic just as during his stay in the home region. Such tariffing is an order of magnitude cheaper than other roaming options from MTS, including Zero Without Borders and BIT Abroad.

However, “Zabugorishche” has its pitfalls. For the actual use of mobile services and the Internet outside of Russia, subscribers will be charged a separate fee.
