Dubai Breaks Records with New Water Attractions

Once a small fishing village in the Arabian Gulf, Dubai is today one of the most cosmopolitan cities in the world. One of the seven emirates that make up the United Arab Emirates, the city is home to more than 200 nationalities and offers an unforgettable experience to all visitors.  Dubai tourism is breaking all records this year, and now there are even new attractions to check out in Dubai. dubai holidays

There are two new water attractions in Dubai that are decorating the already flourishing tourism scene in the region. This time, Dubai has outdone itself with the world’s highest infinity pool and the world’s deepest swimming pool.

Deep Dive Dubai

The Guinness World Records verified the Deep Dive Dubai as the world’s deepest swimming pool and holds 14 million liters of water, the equivalent of six Olympic-sized pools. The outdoor infinity pool, which is on top of the luxury five-star Address Beach Resort in Jumeirah Beach Residence, is the highest in the world. The Guinness Book of World Records also confirmed it as the highest infinity pool in the world.

The infinity pool (which opened last year) has been deemed an Instagrammer’s dream. Many travellers already have a few more reasons to visit Dubai; these two water attractions in Dubai offer something more.

The Deep Dive Dubai pool is the only facility in the world where you can dive to depths of 60 meters, which is 15 meters deeper than any other space and four times bigger.

Travelers can find the pool located in Dubai’s Nad Al Sheba neighborhood.

The perfect dive

This extraordinary indoor pool is filled with 14 million liters of freshwater, the equivalent of six Olympic-sized swimming pools. Water is kept at 30 degrees to create the perfect conditions for diving – and there’s no need to wear thick wetsuits. Your dive at Deep Dive Dubai will never be cancelled due to weather conditions, avoiding all the dangers of diving in rough seas.

Diving experts

Deep Dive Dubai is staffed by professional and experienced scuba and freedivers who will share diving tips and tricks, teach you advanced diving techniques, ensure a safe dive and offer advice on how to configure your dive equipment.

Safety first

Water is circulated through filters every six hours to maintain the highest standards of safety and hygiene. There is also a fully-staffed, 12-person hyperbaric facility, the largest and most advanced in the region, to treat divers in the unlikely event of an accident. All divers are monitored for safety on large screens displaying the feed from the 56 cameras covering the entire pool.

Designers built the pool to resemble a forgotten underwater city. “By design, Deep Dive Dubai offers something truly unique for everyone, and our team is committed to ensuring a memorable experience,” said facility Director Jarrod Jablonski at the launch last year, himself a world record-holding cave diver. dubai holidays

AURA Skypool dubai holidays

Prepare to bask under open skies like never before at AURA Skypool, the world’s first and highest 360-degree infinity pool. The elegant pool-and-lounge destination is perched on the 50th floor of The Palm Tower, with an ‘oasis in the sky’ feel thanks to its nature-inspired decor and uninterrupted city views.

Based on the 77th floor, the pool lives up to the five-star standard at Address Beach Resort in Jumeirah Beach Residence. It is a luxurious way to enjoy Dubai’s skyline, and the panoramic views of the city are beyond breathtaking. The wet surface area on the rooftop gives the appearance of a massive lake in the sky, while the space is also home to ZETA Seventy Seven, a chic Asian restaurant with a menu bursting with seafood dishes.

True to its luxury roots, the space is an adults-only spot and is open to those 21 years of age and older. The infinity pool opened in 2021 and has encouraged many new waves of tourism since. More news about Dubai can be found here.
