Com Hem offers free parental controls based on F-Secure software with children’s subscription

Swedish operator Com Hem, part of the Tele2 Group, said it is offering the new Trygg Surf porn and violence blocker free of charge with its Mobil Barn subscription for parents of children under the age of 18.

One year ago, Com Hem launched the Mobile Children subscription, which gives parents cost control over their children’s mobile subscriptions. With a bar for paid calls, SMS purchases and no roaming outside the EU / EEA, it has become a popular choice.

Now parents can add Trygg Surf to Mobil Barn at no extra cost. The service provides a surf protection that prevents access to unsafe or inappropriate websites, and thus helps parents to protect children from content such as porn, violence or games and betting. What is blocked is easily adapted to the needs of each family. It is also possible to regulate the children’s surfing time with the help of Trygg Surf. It filters out undesirable content such as pornograpy, violence and gambling, regardless of the internet browser used. It can be adapted to whatever the family wants to block.

The Safe Surf app is available for both iOS and Android and can be installed on five devices (including tablets and computers). The service works regardless of whether you connect to the mobile network or WiFi.
