For postpaid, Celcom has a one-day roaming pass for RM38/day that comes with 500MB of data. With this promo, you’ll get double the quota at 1GB for one full day.

For long-term travellers, Celcom also has a 7-day 3-in-1 pass that comes with bundled data along with unlimited calls and SMS for RM138/week. This plan is available in over 30 countries and now they are offering 6GB instead of the previous 3GB of data.

Xpax prepaid customers are also entitled to enjoy double roaming data and their base 1-day social roam pass at RM10/day now comes with 1GB of data for Facebook, Twitter, WhatsApp and WeChat plus 100MB for everything else. If you need more high-speed data, it also gets the same daily internet pass at RM38/day which now comes with 1GB of data.

However, for selected 6 Axiata countries, the 1-day internet pass is going for only RM4.99 and it also comes with 1GB of data. This RM4.99/day rate covers Bangladesh, Cambodia, Indonesia, Nepal, Singapore and Sri Lanka.

If you plan to roam with your Xpax prepaid, you have to be extra careful or else you’ll risk emptying your entire balance. Ensure that you have an active roaming pass daily before you enable data roaming on your phone. If not, you’ll be charged a whopping RM38/MB for staying connected as Xpax doesn’t automatically activate a daily roaming pass for you.

Celcom’s daily passes will expire at 11:59PM Malaysian time, so you’ll have to take note, especially when you’re travelling to a country with a different time zone. celcom roaming

This double quota roaming offer is valid from 15 November until 31 December 2018.
