Wingo launches Fair Surf and Fair Europe tariffs for avid internet users

“Fair Surf” is aimed at customers who use their subscription primarily in Switzerland and rarely make calls. “Fair Europe” is suitable for customers who also often use data and make calls in the EU.

Swisscom brand Wingo said that it has launched two new tariffs, Fair Surf and Fair Europe. The tariffs are aimed in particular at customers who use a high amount of mobile data in Switzerland or who often travel in Europe.
New Wingo tariffs:

Fair surf

from CHF 20.- per month.
– Contains 2 GB that can be used in Switzerland and / or in the EU.
– Another 6 GB costs CHF 5.- each (Switzerland / EU).
– You can then continue surfing in Switzerland free of charge, in the EU data packages (e.g. CHF 15.- for 1 GB) are available.
– Phone calls, SMS and MMS are not included in Switzerland with this subscription. A flat rate of CHF 1.- per call for use or the sending of SMS within Switzerland. (Billing takes place automatically on the first call, SMS or MMS and covers all further calls, SMS and MMS until midnight.) When calling in the EU, the minute tariff of CHF 0.60 applies.
– Unlimited data usage (in Switzerland) costs CHF 50 with this subscription.
– If at least one call is made every day, the total costs are CHF 80.- or 81.- per month.

Fair Europe

 

from CHF 40.- per month.
– Contains 2 GB that can be used in Switzerland and / or in the EU.
– A further 5 GB costs CHF 5 each (Switzerland / EU).
– The sixth data package contains 5 GB and costs CHF 5.-.
– You can then continue surfing in Switzerland free of charge, in the EU data packages (e.g. CHF 15.- for 1 GB) are available.
– This subscription also includes calls in Switzerland and within the EU.
– Unlimited data use (in Switzerland) and unlimited telephony (Switzerland / EU) costs CHF 70 with this subscription.

 

What is the difference between “Fair Surf” and “Fair Europe”?

“Fair Europe” costs CHF 20 more per month, but also includes unlimited calls. With “Fair Surf” this would cost CHF 1.- per day. So if you want to make phone calls more than 20 days a month, the «Fair Europe» is cheaper. In addition, phone calls in the EU are included in “Fair Europe”. The CHF 1.- per day with «Fair Surf» only covers calls in Switzerland. The minute rate in the EU is CHF 0.60. Another difference concerns data usage in Switzerland and / or in the EU. With “Fair Europe”, the sixth additional data package contains 5 GB for CHF 5.-, with “Fair Surf” it contains 1 GB.
