Passenger traffic at four Moscow airports is gradually recovering. According to Tele2, the data activity of metropolitan subscribers at the Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo, Vnukovo and Zhukovsky airports doubled year-on-year from June to August.

For a comfortable stay of customers in the capital region during a vacation or business trip, the operator launched a joint project with the Mobilebox vending machine network. Now guests of the capital can buy everything they need for their smartphones in one place – a SIM-card of the Moscow region with the possibility of self-registration, headphones or chargers.

The terminals are installed in common areas, as well as in the departure and arrival areas of international and domestic flights at three airports – Sheremetyevo, Domodedovo and Zhukovsky. In the near future, the operator plans to launch sales of SIM-cards on the territory of Vnukovo airport. You can make a purchase at any time – the machines have round-the-clock access.

Passengers are offered the My Online tariff plan , which includes 500 minutes of calls, 15 GB of Internet traffic and unlimited access to social networks and instant messengers. At the same time, a SIM-card can be purchased for 300 rubles with an installment plan for the first subscription fee. So, immediately after activation, the subscriber will have 350 minutes and 10.5 GB for three weeks. To continue using the tariff, you need to top up the balance by 100 rubles by the end of the month.

Anton Zhukovsky, commercial director of the Moscow macro-region Tele2:

“The general trend towards retail robotization has been reflected in Tele2’s retail development strategy for several years now. Customers love the concept of self-service, in response to this request, we offer them such services. More and more of our customers are connecting to the network remotely, making a choice in favor of their own comfort. Thus, the launch of sales of SIM-cards at Moscow airports minimizes the time and money spent on connecting to the network – you can start using communication in 1-2 minutes after purchasing the card. “

The project with the Mobilebox vending machine network has 56 points of sale in the metropolitan area. 41 terminals with the ability to purchase Tele2 SIM cards are installed at airports, 15 more – in shopping centers, supermarkets, hotels and railway stations.
