In-flight roaming is subject to availability with partner airlines, at the time of writing some of the major airline partners include:
- Asiana Airlines
- Cathay Pacific
- Emirates
- Etihad Airways
- Lufthansa
- Malaysia Airlines
- Singapore Airlines
It’s also important to note that the AeroMobile network utilizes satellites to provide signal so while you may have access you shouldn’t expect 4G or 5G speeds.
Vodafone Australia in-flight-roaming offer vs Optus amaysim in-flight-roaming
Vodafone started offering in-flight roaming as part of its $5 roaming deal in October last year, also through a partnership with AeroMobile. Vodafone’s offer is still one of the best available because it lets you access your full plan inclusions while you’re overseas.
