Keflavik International Airport in Iceland said it has decided to expand the Veovo Flow Management system provided by Gentrack of New Zealand throughout its compound.
It initially deployed the solution from New Zealand-headquartered Veovo in 2016 to cover check-in and security processes but flow management is being extended to cover the boarding gates.
This system consists of sensors and deep learning algorithms to show how passengers move through and use the airport, enabling more informed operational and business decisions.
