Bulgaria and Turkey Agree to Drop Roaming Charges
Bulgaria and Turkey are about to abolish roaming charges transport Minister Ivaylo Moskovski said in a statement he made after the meeting of the Council of Ministers.
The Bulgaria–Turkey border is a 513 km (319 mi) long international border between the Republic of Bulgaria and the Republic of Turkey. Newest roaming tariffs reduce will affect about 87 million people which lives in those two countries.

Turkey ranks fifth by the number of tourists who visited Bulgaria in the period January – September 2017. They exceed 485,000, marking a growth of over 12% on the same period of last year, Minister Angelkova said. Bulgarian citizens who visited Turkey in the same period number over 1 million, growing by over 6 per cent. Data indicates that the two countries could have good partnership and build further on their results, Bulgarian Minister of Tourism added. The Ministry of Tourism works actively for attracting more tourists from our neighbour country. The initiatives include expedition tours for tour operators, launch of internet advertising in the Turkish media, and organizing visits of Turkish journalists to Bulgaria.
