Operator Abu Dhabi Airports Co announced the airport-wide roll-out of Super-Fi, which provides internet upload and download speeds of up to 200 mbps per user.
In a statement, Abu Dhabi AIrports said Super-Fi access has been tested across all three terminals of AUH, with “millions of travellers” set to be provided “improved online connectivity”.
Internet access is free for public use across the terminals of Abu Dhabi Alrport’s AUH – a move that comes as part of the operator’s commitment to enhance passenger experiences and boost its digitization initiatives.
Commenting on the latest update, Abu Dhabi Alrports chief executive officer, Bryan Thompson, said: “We understand just how important WiFi has become to the travelling public. At Abu Dhabi AIrports, we value our customers first and foremost, placing a primary focus on their experiences while coming and going from the UAE’s capital.
“Access to fast internet is a crucial factor that makes a big difference for our travelers. Providing our customers with enhanced connective services is in line with our vision of becoming the world’s leading airport group.”
The installation of Super-Fi follows Abu Dhabi Airports’ deal with Cisco in October 2018, which entails the provision of platforms to support the operator’s digital transformation strategy.
