Jadran Hoteli Rijeka, owned by the Gold Tree Group and Gold Tree Hospitality companies, and in partnership with the WH Europe investment group, is the leading hotel group in Rijeka and the wider urban area. They manage six hotels with over 730 accommodation units and a campsite with 300 plots of different categories. Some of their facilities have been operating continuously for over 135 years.
With the arrival of the new owners, an ambitious strategic plan has been formed and is in the initial stage of implementation, aimed at transforming and upgrading the portfolio, as well as continuous growth and development, and new acquisitions. They recently acquired the Grand Hotel Bonavia, which was the first important step in their vision of strengthening the development of Rijeka as an established tourist destination.

Marking a milestone in Croatian hospitality, the first standard Marriott hotel in the country opened its doors in summer 2019. Located in Split, the Courtyard by Marriott occupies a prime location within the Dalmatia Tower, the then-tallest building in Croatia. This 4-star hotel boasts stunning panoramic views of the city and the Adriatic Sea from its floors on levels 16 to 26.
The Opatija Marriott Hotel, which will be opened in late 2024, will join Marriott Bonvoy’s existing portfolio in Croatia’s key tourism and business destinations, which includes the Westin Hotel and Sheraton Hotel in Zagreb, as well as the Sheraton Dubrovnik Riviera, Le Meridien, Lav, Split, and the above mentioned AC by Marriott Hotel, Split.
