Talkmore: 1 GB Roaming in Selected Countries for NOK 199

Telenor Norway‘s budget mobile service provider Talkmore said it is now offering a 1 GB data bundle for use when roaming abroad at NOK 199 (€ 21). talkmore roaming
The roaming bundle has been launched in time for the summer holidays and is valid in Zone 1, which Talkmore said includes popular Norwegian travel destinations such as Turkey and Thailand. The same package provides 200 MB of internet service in Zone 2 countries.

Talkmore is already among the absolute cheapest on roaming. We are constantly working to improve our roaming offer and do what we can to give our customers the best possible prices. It is therefore very gratifying that we are now launching this data package just in time for the summer holidays so that our offer is even better, “says John Sebastian Schmidt Slørdahl, CEO of Talkmore.

Norwegians love to share their travel experiences with the outside world, and therefore it is nice that the mobile operators are increasingly facilitating that they can do so without having major concerns about the mobile bill. At Talkmore, the mobile subscription is blocked for further data use abroad if the consumption has reached SEK 500 in the current month. If the customer wishes to continue the data use beyond this, they must confirm it by sending an SMS.

We do this as extra security for the customers, to avoid that they use a lot of data without having a conscious relationship with the bill that comes after. And with the new data package, we make foreign surfing even cheaper than with current data prices, and customers get full control of the cost, ”says John Sebastian Schmidt Slørdahl.

These are the countries included in the new data packet:

Andorra, Australia, Bahamas, Bangladesh, Canada, Hong Kong, China, Macedonia, Malaysia, Monaco, Myanmar, Pakistan, Russia, Turkey, Thailand and Venezuela.
