T-Mobile to Provide 5G Advanced Network Solutions for Formula 1’s Las Vegas Grand Prix

FORMULA 1 LAS VEGAS GRAND PRIX announced T-Mobile is the new Exclusive Wireless Provider for motorsport’s most anticipated race. In partnership with the Las Vegas Grand Prix, T-Mobile will provide 5G Advanced Network Solutions (5G ANS) for a supercharged network experience at the Las Vegas Grand Prix on Nov. 16 – 18, 2023. At the Las Vegas Grand Prix, T-Mobile will deploy a 5G ANS Public Mobile Network to permanently boost its Ultra Capacity 5G network on and off the track, including the new multi-use Paddock Building, garages and pits to power operations and help ensure top performance and network speeds.

Fans can expect more on the ground from the Un-carrier, including immersive 5G-connected experiences leveraging T-Mobile’s award-winning network to deliver exclusive views of the most anticipated race of the year.

Las Vegas Grand Prix Launch Party

This weekend at the Las Vegas Grand Prix Launch Party on Nov. 5, T-Mobile’s 5G network will power a spectacular show with 400 drones illuminating the city skyline. Earlier that day from 1-3 pm, fans can also head to the T-Mobile Signature Store at 3971 Las Vegas Blvd. to enter for a chance to win free tickets to the concert that evening and next year’s Las Vegas Grand Prix.

Hamilton, Perez, Russell and Albon to headline Las Vegas Grand Prix Launch Party

The free launch party – set for this Saturday, November 5 – will bring the spectacle of Formula 1 to the high energy of the famous Las Vegas Strip, and fans will be able to hear the roar of the engines, smell the burning rubber and witness the power of Grand Prix cars up close and personal.

Not only that, but four of the sport’s star drivers will be there to join the fun. Seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton will be joined by his Mercedes team mate George Russell, Red Bull’s four-time Grand Prix winner Sergio Perez, and Williams racer Alex Albon.

Fans will also be able to take part in the Formula 1 Pit Stop Challenge, enjoy F1 Esports simulators, car and trophy photo opportunities, exclusive giveaways and much more.

The line-up of festival activities includes: 

  • 1100 – The launch party begins with the Pit Stop Challenge, Esports Simulators, activations, car and trophy photo ops, and more
  • 1750 – Live car run on Las Vegas Boulevard
  • 1830 – Drone Show above Caesars Palace
  • 1845 – Introduction of the drivers and teams on the Main Stage
  • 2300 – Official after party with Alesso at OMNIA Nightclub
