A1 Belarus offers more data with roaming packages

A1 Belarus, one of three major mobile phone providers in Belarus, has changed the terms of its roaming service. A1 Belarus roaming packages

Subscribers of A1 Belarus’s weekly roaming data package for retail users and of its monthly data package for businesses are now being offered a 1.5 GB bundle instead of a 1.0 GB package, but the price is unchanged.

The price of out-of-bundle data has been reduced to BYN 0.10 per megabyte.

Just as a reminder, mobile carriers will have to take measures to drop roaming charges in the Union State of Belarus and Russia by September 2020, representatives of the Belarusian Communications and Informatization Ministry told BelTA.

According to the source, as part of the work the Belarusian and Russian communications ministries have signed a roadmap on dropping roaming charges in the Union State of Belarus and Russia. The document expects that mobile carriers will implement a set of measures to cancel roaming charges by September 2020. A1 Belarus roaming packages

For example, they have a “Roaming Simple” package that provides 50 minutes, 50 SMS, and 500MB of data for 7 days, and a “Roaming Advanced” package that provides 100 minutes, 100 SMS, and 1GB of data for 14 days.
3. Life:) Belarus: Life:) is a smaller mobile network operator in Belarus, but they also offer roaming packages for their customers. For example, they have a “Roaming in Europe” package that provides 100 minutes, 100 SMS, and 500MB of data for 7 days, and a “Roaming in the World” package that provides 100 minutes, 100 SMS, and 500MB of data for 7 days as well.
