Comviq offers eSIM service to prepayment customers and subs
Tele2 Sweden’s budget mobile operation, Comviq, said is offering embedded SIM cards to both its prepayment customers and its subscribers, giving them the option of using two different telephone numbers on the same handset, or giving up their physical SIM card.
Benefits include the ability to run a private and a business account on one phone or to use a different number to ring family overseas.
Today, most new mobile phones come with support for eSIM—a built-in SIM card that, in practice, works like a traditional and physical SIM card, but means smoother handling and the possibility of dual subscriptions on the same mobile. In addition, you do not lose your eSIM as long as you keep track of your mobile.
– eSIM is the SIM card of the future, which both simplifies use and gives the mobile new opportunities. A nicer and simpler way to provide connection simply. Therefore, it feels great that we now offer that opportunity to all Comviq customers, regardless of prepaid card or subscription, says Oscar Karlsson, business area manager for Comviq.
