For example, Mobile Check-in and Smart Checkout eliminate long lines so that guests can maximize their time enjoying each property’s amenities. And with Canary’s Dynamic Upsells, guests can conveniently select the many services or F&B options TUI properties have to offer — whenever & wherever they want — whether poolside, in their room or off-property exploring local sites.

TUI Group, which owns TUI Hotels & Resorts, opened a Digital Hub in Porto, Portugal in 2023. This hub houses 150 technology experts who are working on developing new digital products and improving TUI’s mobile app and payment systems.

TUI is also investing in artificial intelligence (AI) to personalize the guest experience. For example, AI could be used to recommend restaurants and activities to guests based on their past preferences.
