Aer Lingus increases New York flight capacity from Manchester
Aer Lingus is drastically increasing capacity on its service from Manchester to New York’s JFK for the summer season. The Irish carrier has begun deploying an Airbus A330 aircraft on the route to increase seat capacity on each flight by 72 percent. aer lingus flights
This includes 317 seats in economy (up from 184) and 30 fully-flat business class seats (up from 14).
Previously, the route was served by a single-aisle A321LR aircraft, which will now be redeployed onto transatlantic routes from Dublin (including Hartford, which resumed last month) as well as the new Dublin to Cleveland service, which is set to take off next month.
Summer 2023: New Greek And Italian Routes
Aer Linus launched three new European routes next year. From summer 2023, you can fly direct from Dublin to the gorgeous Greek island of Kos, as well as Italian sunspots Olbia (Sardina) and Brindisi (Puglia).

All of these new routes will operate twice a week. Dublin to Kos starts from May 2023, Dublin to Olbia starts from May 2023 and Dublin to Brindisi starts from June 2023.

Summer 2023 will also be our largest-ever transatlantic schedule with 2.25 million transatlantic seats and 15 direct transatlantic flights available from Ireland. Introducing Cleveland Ohio, for the first time and the return of Hartford, Connecticut, the schedule also includes favourite destinations such as New York, Chicago, Boston, LA, San Francisco, Toronto, Washington, Seattle and Philadelphia.
Direct flights from Manchester to Barbados, New York and Orlando are all available to book now, as well as connecting options from Dublin and Cork.
