Plus launches new roaming packages for Europe, Turkey, USA, and beyond — with VPN protection and device repair included.

Plus offers new data roaming packs (includes Turkey in Europe plan)

Poland’s telecom giant Plus just rolled out a refreshed lineup of roaming packages for both postpaid and prepaid users, aiming to make travel connectivity simpler, safer, and more affordable. The new offer spans Europe, Turkey, the United States, and even global destinations—while adding a few smart extras, such as VPN protection and expanded device repair options.

This move comes as roaming demand keeps rising—not just for summer vacations but for remote work and frequent travel too. And Plus seems determined to position itself as the go-to operator for connected travelers.

Designed for travelers—from Europe to the world

The new Plus roaming lineup is structured around flexibility. Whether you’re heading for a weekend in Paris, a conference in New York, or a beach in Antalya, there’s a plan for that.

Here’s how the new Plus roaming packages break down:

Europe & Turkey (Postpaid and Prepaid)

  • 2 GB for PLN 50
  • 5 GB for PLN 100

Europe & Turkey 24h (Prepaid only)

1 GB for PLN 15, valid for 24 hours

USA (Postpaid and Prepaid)

  • 2 GB for PLN 50
  • 5 GB for PLN 100

World (Postpaid)

  • 500 MB for PLN 65
  • 1 GB for PLN 100

Each package gives users the freedom to stay online abroad without breaking the bank, and validity varies: postpaid plans last until the end of the billing period, while prepaid ones run for 30 days or 24 hours, depending on the chosen option.

For full country coverage lists, Plus directs users to its official roaming site—always worth checking before takeoff.

Simple activation and smart control

One thing Plus got right is convenience. You can activate roaming packages directly via:

  • the iPlus app,
  • the Plus online portal
  • or even via a quick SMS command to the provided number.

Users can also manage their plan through a Plus Business Advisor, which is handy for corporate travelers managing multiple lines.

To check remaining data, you simply text “P” to 2580 — and you’ll instantly get your balance info.

Plus also includes a default data limiter, which cuts off mobile internet automatically once your roaming bill reaches PLN 250, helping prevent those post-holiday “bill shocks” that used to haunt travelers a few years ago.

Security takes the front seat

Connectivity is one thing — but safety is another. Recognizing that travelers often use unprotected Wi-Fi networks, Plus now includes a Safe Travel package for PLN 20/month.

The plan combines:

  • Internet Protection with VPN, encrypting your data and shielding you from trackers or hackers.
  • Plus Navigation for Europe, a practical bonus for drivers navigating unfamiliar cities.

It’s a smart addition, especially for anyone logging into banking apps or business accounts while abroad. Essentially, this is Plus stepping into the “travel tech meets cybersecurity” territory—and doing it well.

Protecting your phone abroad

When you’re traveling, accidents happen. Drops, spills, and cracked screens don’t wait for warranty periods.

That’s where the refreshed Device Service comes in—now available in two upgraded options:

  • Premium 24 Plus Device Service (PLN 40/month)—covers phone repairs even after the warranty ends.
  • SIMO Premium 24 Device Service (PLN 30/month)—designed for devices purchased independently (i.e., not through Plus).

These services mean that even if your phone slips off the poolside table in Greece, you’ll likely be covered. For frequent travelers, it’s peace of mind that’s worth every złoty.

Why this matters—and where Plus stands

With these updates, Plus joins a broader European trend: telecoms increasingly bundling connectivity with protection. Operators like Orange and Play have been focusing on affordable EU roaming and hybrid travel protection, while T-Mobile Poland recently introduced similar all-in-one travel add-ons.

However, Plus stands out for a few reasons:

  • It’s the only Polish carrier currently offering a dedicated VPN and navigation combo in one monthly package.
  • Its global (World) roaming plan is transparent and straightforward—not hidden behind tiered or region-based pricing, as seen with some rivals.
  • The multi-channel activation and spending protection tools make it more user-friendly for non-tech-savvy travelers.

According to a 2025 roaming study by GSMA Intelligence, over 60% of users now rely on mobile data while abroad, and cost predictability remains the top concern. By offering predefined, capped data bundles and real-time control via SMS, Plus addresses that demand directly.

The travel connectivity space is also getting more competitive, with eSIM players like Airalo, Airhub, and Yesim or Ubigi providing instant global data plans. But where those rely on digital onboarding, Plus still has an advantage for local Polish customers who prefer in-person support and integrated billing.

The bottom line

Plus’s refreshed roaming portfolio isn’t just another set of data bundles—it’s a sign that traditional telecoms are adapting fast to the new generation of connected travelers.

By combining flexible roaming, built-in safety tools, and device protection, Plus is moving beyond basic connectivity—toward being a complete travel companion.

It’s a welcome update in a market where convenience, transparency, and trust matter more than ever. And for Polish travelers heading abroad—whether for business, leisure, or the digital nomad life—Plus’s latest offer just made staying connected much easier.
