Tesco Mobile Extends Free EU Roaming Offer to 2025
Good news for those Tesco Mobile customers travelling in Europe! Tesco Mobile has announced the extension of its Home From Home EU roaming offer until 2025. Tesco Mobile Free EU Roaming
This extended offer enables customers to continue to tap into their UK minutes, texts, and data allowance at no extra cost when travelling in 48 destinations in the EU and beyond.
The move isn’t particularly surprising as the provider is a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) on O2’s (VMO2) platform, which is an operator that has long opted to retain free EU roaming.
Rachel Swift, Tesco Mobile’s Chief Customer Officer says: “We know that many of our customers rely on their phones while travelling, not just to stay connected with loved ones but also to research sights and restaurants.
“As part of our commitment to being a helpful network, we’re delighted to announce that we’ve extended our roaming offer so customers can enjoy their travels without worrying about additional charges. We’re incredibly proud to be one of the few networks to still offer this benefit.”

Are there any restrictions? Tesco Mobile Free EU Roaming
Home From Home isn’t meant for people who don’t live in the UK, so Tesco Mobile has some limits to stop that from happening. If you spend more time in Home from Home destinations than in the UK and the rest of the world, or if you use more of your allowances in Home from Home destinations than in the UK and the rest of the world, then Tesco Mobile’ll apply the fair usage policy.
This means that when you use your phone, you’ll still use up your monthly allowances or bundles, and then when they run out, you’ll pay operator standard rates, but on top of that, Tesco Mobile will also add an additional surcharge. If the operator is going to do this, they’ll text you first to let you know what your options are.
