MTS Belarus expands coverage of data roaming option

MTS Belarus has expanded the coverage of its mobile internet roaming option ‘1 GB Abroad’. The option has become available in 23 additional European countries, including 20 in the EU.
The service “1 GB abroad” now also works in Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Hungary, Germany, Greece, Denmark, Spain, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Serbia, Slovakia, Finland, France, Monaco, Croatia, Montenegro, Czech Republic, Sweden and Estonia. The service has also become available on networks of six additional mobile operators in countries where the service was already available: Israel, Latvia, Lithuania and Poland.

1 GB abroad

As part of the service, 1 GB of Internet traffic is available to subscribers for 7 days. Then it is automatically deleted from the subscriber number. The cost of the “1 GB abroad” service is 15.00 rubles.

“1 GB abroad” is available for all MTS subscribers, with the exception of users of the Guest, Guest 7, and Guest 30 tariff plans, as well as foreign citizens without registration at the Super max and Unlimited rates.

When using a VPN in roaming, the Internet is charged for each consumed MB in accordance with the tariffs of the roaming partner, to the network of which a SIM card is connected.

1 GB abroad is 1024 MB for 7 days of use at a speed without restrictions:

  • The service is provided in popular countries.
  • Payment occurs immediately upon connection
  • Traffic to My MTS , MTS Money applications and the www.mts.by website are not taken into account and is provided free of charge
  • No cost overruns – after spending 1 GB, Internet access in roaming is blocked until the expiration date or the service is turned off
