Tinkoff Mobile fined for misleading ads over national roaming charges
Russian MVNO Tinkoff Mobile, a subsidiary of Tinkoff Bank, has been fined RUB 100,000 by the federal competition watchdog FAS, reports Comnews.ru. Thus, as indicated in the agency, in the advertisement posted in “VKontakte”, the operator promised communication services without roaming throughout the territory of Russia, but did not specify at the same time that this offer does not apply to the territory of Crimea and Sevastopol.
