Tinkoff Mobile cuts roaming rates in neighbouring countries

Tinkoff Mobile reduces the cost of services for customers traveling to CIS countries and Georgia.

Russian MVNO Tinkoff Mobile has reduced the rates of its roaming services in several neighbouring states.
The rates have been lowered in Georgia, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan.

Clients of Tinkoff Mobile traveling to Uzbekistan are able to connect 50 MB of Internet traffic per day for 399 rubles. The volume of the package “Internet for the trip” increased to 200 MB and costs 1,499 rubles. In Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova and Tajikistan, 100 MB of Internet traffic cost 299 rubles per day, and 500 MB for the entire trip will cost subscribers Tinkoff Mobile in 1299 rubles.

In addition, the operator reduces prices and the option “Unlimited instant messengers for the day”, which allows you to make an unlimited number of audio calls and send text messages to WhatsApp, Viber, Facebook Messenger, iMessage, TamTam and IMO.IM. In Uzbekistan, the cost of such a package is 149 rubles, in the remaining countries – 79 rubles.

On the territory of the CIS countries and Georgia, Tinkoff Mobile also offers updated prices for voice calls. Thus, the minute of the incoming or outgoing call in Azerbaijan, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova and Tajikistan now costs 19.9 rubles, in Uzbekistan – 39.9 rubles. In all countries, the operator’s customers can connect a daily package of 30 incoming minutes for 59 rubles, which is automatically turned off when you return to Russia.

Tinkoff Mobile simultaneously reduces the cost of sending SMS from Moldova and Uzbekistan – one text message will cost the subscriber 9.9 rubles. Thus, in all CIS countries the operator offers a single price for outgoing SMS.

Georgy Chesakov, CEO of Tinkoff Mobile: “We are doing everything so that our subscribers do not change the usual profile of consumption and feel comfortable outside of Russia. Today we have reduced prices in neighboring states – Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Georgia, thereby making international roaming even more accessible. I am confident that, both in business and private travel, our customers in these countries will actively use voice and mobile Internet, without waiting for a connection to Wi-Fi, which will allow them to always stay in touch. ”

The MVNO uses Tele2 Russia’s network and infrastructure to provide mobile services for both current Tinkoff customers and others, and will have its own network code, number range and SIM cards which will be delivered across Russia via Tinkoff’s smart courier network.
