Telenet to start supporting eSims
Belgian operator Telenet announced that it will start supporting eSIMs for its mobile customers on January 29, 2024. This will make Telenet the last of the three major operators in Belgium to offer eSims. Proximus and Orange have already been offering eSIM ‘s for some time. telenet esim support
eSims are embedded SIM cards that are built into a device’s hardware. This means that they do not require a physical SIM card to be inserted into the device. This can be convenient for users who want to be able to switch between different carriers or use multiple SIM cards on the same device.
Telenet’s eSim service will initially be available through a “soft launch.”. This means that customers will still need to go to a Telenet shop to activate their eSim. However, the company plans to make eSims available through online channels at a later date.
It is not yet clear whether Telenet’s mobile brand, Base, will also offer eSim support.
Here are some of the benefits of using eSIMs: telenet esim support
- Convenience: eSims are more convenient than physical SIM cards because they do not require a user to insert or remove a SIM card.
- Portability: eSims can be easily transferred between devices, making it easy to switch between phones or tablets.
- Security: eSims are more secure than physical SIM cards because they are not as easily lost or stolen.
If you are a Telenet customer, you can learn more about eSims on the Telenet website.
