T2 Slashes Roaming Fees for Belarusian users
As part of the Russia-Belarus Union State’s initiative to eliminate roaming charges, t2 has announced a significant reduction in roaming fees for Belarusian users. Effective February 26, 2025, one gigabyte of internet data will cost only 140 Russian rubles.
At the same time, the conditions for unlimited Internet abroad are also being improved—clients in Belarus will receive up to 3 GB of Internet at high speed until the end of the day. T2 already offers clients free incoming calls, and outgoing calls to Russian numbers will become more affordable.
From the 26th of February, T2 customers who arrive in Belarus will be able to use unlimited mobile Internet at a more favorable price. The company has tripled the high-speed Internet package to 3 gigabytes while maintaining the cost of the service. After this volume is exhausted, the speed, as before, will decrease until the end of the day. It will be enough for comfortable communication on social networks, instant messengers, and listening to music.
T2 subscribers will be able to connect an Internet package in Belarus for a period of three to 30 days at an affordable price. This can be easily done in the “Travel and Roaming” section of the mobile application or via a USSD command. Thus, one gigabyte of traffic will cost only 140 rubles. Customers will also be able to purchase five and 10 gigabytes per month for 700 and 1,400 rubles, respectively. The package will begin to be consumed only after the subscriber goes online in roaming.
T2 maintains free incoming calls for customers while staying in Belarus. In addition, subscribers of package tariffs will have access to 150 minutes per month for outgoing calls to Russian numbers. Above this amount, the cost of calls will be 3.5 rubles.
