Martijn Snoep, chairman of the ACM board: ‘This meant that customers could only watch the first half of a football match during a holiday abroad, for example. The second half could no longer be followed due to the lower internet speed.

The data limit did not apply within the Netherlands. According to the ‘roam like at home’ principle, the principle applies that people within the EU can use the same services as they do at home, under the same conditions. ‘ By lifting the daily limit, the roaming offer from Robin Mobile complies with the rules.
