Navigil, a specialist in white-label personal safety and tracking solutions has announced a roaming data and voice communication agreement with BT.
The agreement with an award-winning telecom provider enables Navigil to broaden the availability of its products reliably and cost-effectively. In addition to the EU markets, the recently launched S3 wearable telecare and personal safety wristwatch and the related Rafael service will be available for customers globally supported by BT’s worldwide presence.
Blended care model powered by Navigil
With sophisticated and easy-to-use technology, Navigil S3 and Navigil Rafael service enables vulnerable persons to get timely assistance either from family and friends or from a 24/7 alarm receiving centre.
Navigil Rafael service includes industry benchmark routing features for help request calls and notifications. This enables family members and friends to share the care workload reliably and safely. By the Rafael service caregivers can easily define a weekly prioritized calendar schedule for routing help request calls and alarms among themselves.

Secure routing ensures that the reachability sequence doesn’t end up on a voice mail box. Instead, the call is automatically connected to the next person in the sequence if there is no response from a caregiver.
Additionally, Rafael service supports automated are-you-well call setups between a loved one and caregivers. Everyone involved in the care provision can know the status at all times and can rest assured that the vulnerable person is safe and reachable.
“At Navigil, we are committed to delivering secure and high-availability services to our customers and end users. Working with a telecom provider such as BT enables us to do this not only in the EU but more importantly in other global markets”, says Matti Räty, CEO of Navigil. “Reliability, control and flexibility are very important criteria in telecare and personal safety solutions. Thus, we are very happy to be in good hands with the BT Control Centre”.
