About Iberia inflight
Iberia is Spain’s flagship airline. Its primary hub is based in Madrid and is based at the Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport (MAD).
Iberia’s loyalty program is referred to as Iberia Plus, and the reward currency is called Avios. If the word “Avios” seems familiar, it’s because it’s also the currency of British Airways, Aer Lingus, and, more recently, Qatar Airways, all of which are a part of the IAG group.
Iberia offers flights to about 120 locations globally. But because of its distinct position within IAG and membership in the Oneworld Alliance, Iberia’s reach is practically infinite.
