Rwanda to get unlimited 4G plans
Rwanda continues to be one of the fastest-growing African countries in ICT, though adequate numbers of skilled IT professionals are still lacking. Rwandan wholesale 4G provider KT Rwanda Networks (KTRN) has announced the launch of its first unlimited plans for smartphone users. Rwanda 4g
While KTRN does not provide services to end users itself, third-party ISPs have already begun marketing its new unlimited tariffs, The New Times reports, with these including Netpro, ISCOISP, PIRAMIE, Simba, GMAX, BKTecHouse, Mango Telecom, Popconn, Fastnet, Truconnect, Netlink, 4NetAfrica, TNSP, RTN, Smart Broadband and CBNET.
Korean-backed firm KTRN announced last year that it had completed its 4G LTE network rollout, reaching 96% of Rwanda’s population. Rwanda 4g
