North Macedonia and Greece to drop roaming charges next summer

“We agreed that the maximum charge for roaming services should be reduced to the level applied in the European Union,” declared Manchevski.
Greece Macedonia roaming to end next summer after all
According to Manchevski, the MoU foresees a dynamic reduction of wholesale and retail charges for roaming services.
“We will try to achieve concrete results … by the end of May and early June,” stated Manchevski. That didn’t happen last summer but roaming charges with Greece will drop as of the coming summer season, Minister of Information Society and Administration Damjan Manchevski has stated today.
There are several mobile operators offering roaming services in Greece and North Macedonia (formerly known as Macedonia). These include:

- Telekom Macedonia (Magyar Telekom): Telekom Macedonia is another mobile operator in North Macedonia that offers international roaming services to its customers. Telekom Macedonia’s roaming packages include daily, weekly, and monthly options for voice, data, and SMS usage, as well as pay-per-use options.
Prices for international roaming in Greece and North Macedonia vary depending on the operator and the package chosen. As an example, Cosmote offers a daily roaming package for voice, data, and SMS usage in North Macedonia for 3.99 EUR (approximately $4.70 USD) per day. Vodafone’s daily roaming package for voice and data usage in North Macedonia starts at 4.99 EUR (approximately $5.90 USD) per day.
