WhatsApp Business available for small businesses in Germany too

After WhatsApp released its business app a few days ago in the US, UK and other countries, it is now also available in Germany. WhatsApp Business Germany

WhatsApp Business, a stand-alone app that enables companies to remain in contact with their customers via the messaging app, has now launched in Germany. The Facebook-owned app is targeted at smaller businesses that are unable to afford their own comprehensive and cost-intensive support systems. The app can be downloaded for Android in the Google Play Store.

Additional features for companies WhatsApp Business Germany

Unlike Skype for Business, Whatsapp Business can easily communicate with regular Whatsapp client clients. The business version of Whatsapp differs mainly by the following four additional features for traders:

Company Profiles: Companies can provide useful information such as a company description, e-mail or business address, and website.
News tools: Features such as quick responses, which enable quick answers to frequently asked questions, are designed to save time – plus welcome messages and out-of-office messages.
News statistics: In Whatsapp Business, metrics like the number of read messages should be quickly checked, which should facilitate a meaningful evaluation of feedback.
Account type: Whatsapp business accounts can be officially verified similar to other networks. For this, it must be confirmed that the number used comes from the company. Company accounts are visible to all users.

As with normal Whatsapp, Whatsapp Business can send chat messages and voice or video calls. In the business client, the telephone number is displayed as usual with Whatsapp.
