Tele2 Netherlands to stop all prepaid services from November 15
Telecom provider Tele2 Netherlands will stop offering prepaid services on November 15, 2020. Customers who want to continue using the services can switch to T-Mobile Prepaid for free.
Tele2 stops offering prepaid services due to the merger with T-Mobile. Customers who use Tele2 Netherlands prepaid and want to continue to do so, can switch to T-Mobile Prepaid free of charge until 14 December this year. They can also keep their number and transfer calling credit.
For customers who do not transfer, the calling credit and telephone number will remain available until November 15, 2020. After that, that will expire. Current Tele2 Netherlands prepaid customers can still top up their credit until the end of this month.
The merger of T-Mobile with Tele2 was completed in February this year. The companies have merged as one company. This ensured that in August Tele2 Business subscriptions could no longer be taken out. This service was transferred to T-Mobile Ondernemen.
