Let’s begin with the price reductions.

The changes in roaming apply to postpaid, prepaid, and corporate offers. The update begins with price reductions.

In line with EU regulations:

  • The roaming data limit has been increased by 3% for all users.
  • Additional call charges while roaming have been reduced to PLN 0.09 per minute for individual customers and PLN 0.07 net for business customers.
  • The cost of data usage beyond the EU roaming limit has been lowered to PLN 6.88 per GB.
  • The price of international calls for individual customers has been reduced from PLN 1.00 to PLN 0.98 per minute.

More Countries Covered by Safe Roaming

The list of Orange Polska roaming countries where the Safe Roaming and GO 10 GB packages are available now includes Armenia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, and the Faroe Islands, expanding the total coverage to over 50 countries.

As a reminder, Safe Roaming provides controlled internet access in both popular and remote destinations (such as Egypt, Turkey, Tunisia, and the USA) — helping customers avoid unexpected high charges. The most commonly used package offers 1 GB for 24 hours at a cost of PLN 15, and it activates automatically when data roaming begins.

Before heading off on a trip, it’s a good idea to download the My Orange app, if it’s not already installed. Through the app, users can:

  • Check if roaming is enabled on their phone.
  • Verify their data allowance within the European Union.
  • Activate additional roaming packages for non-EU countries.
  • Set a convenient spending limit for internet usage.

It’s also recommended to check whether the phone and SIM card support LTE — particularly important for older users who may have outdated devices and are planning longer stays abroad. To check, simply send a free SMS with the word KARTA to 80233.

Since many foreign operators, like those in Poland, have begun phasing out 3G technology, having LTE support is essential to ensure good call quality and reliable coverage.
