Great news: tickets for direct trains from London to the Netherlands and back will be on sale from February 11, 2020. For more information about the London-Amsterdam train, find out below.
You’ll be able to travel from Amsterdam on April 30 and from Rotterdam on May 18. At first, two trains a day will run, with the aim of increasing to three and then four.
Trains for London will leave from Amsterdam Centraal and Rotterdam Centraal, and there will be no need to change in Brussels.

With Eurostar‘s new three-times daily train direct from London to Amsterdam, it takes just 3hrs 52 minutes to get from city center to city centre. Ticket sales are now open. And there are no hidden charges for luggage or limits on liquids.

Following the withdrawal agreement agreed between the UK and EU, Eurostar services will continue on the existing basis, timetable, and terms and conditions following Brexit on January 31st. We are working closely with our station partners, governments, and border authorities on both sides of the Channel to ensure that robust plans are in place for us to continue to operate in either a deal or ‘no-deal’ scenario after the transition period.
Will I need a visa to travel between the UK and the EU after Brexit?
The EU has agreed to give British citizens visa-free travel to member states, even in a no-deal scenario, for trips up to 90 days. The UK had previously confirmed that EU citizens would be able to make short-term visits to the UK without a visa.
Can I still travel with my EEA ID card after Brexit?
The UK government has confirmed that EU identity cards will remain valid for travel to the UK initially. Although there will be no immediate change, this cannot be guaranteed after the introduction of a new immigration system on January 1, 2021.
