Telecom Commission – the highest decision-making body of the telecom department – also approved regulator TRAI’s recommendations on internet telephony in its meeting here today.
Another proposal that received approval entails the creation of an ombudsman to deal with telecom grievances, telecom secretary Aruna Sundararajan told reporters.
The ombudsman will be set up under TRAI and will require an amendment to the TRAI Act.
Nearly 10 million grievances are received per quarter in the telecom sector, she said adding the new mechanism of the ombudsman will lead to a better and satisfactory consumer grievance redressal system. India In-Flight
To access in-flight services, you need to book a flight ticket with an airline that offers these services. You can book a flight ticket online through the airline’s website or a third-party travel booking website.
The process of accessing in-flight Wi-Fi service may vary depending on the airline and the type of service provided.
However, here are the general steps to connect to in-flight Wi-Fi:
- Check if your airline offers in-flight Wi-Fi service: Before boarding your flight, check if your airline offers in-flight Wi-Fi service. You can check this information on the airline’s website or by contacting their customer service.
- Purchase a Wi-Fi pass: Most airlines offer different Wi-Fi plans for their passengers. You can purchase a Wi-Fi pass before or during the flight. The cost of the Wi-Fi pass may vary depending on the airline, the route, and the duration of the flight.
- Connect to the Wi-Fi network: Once the Wi-Fi service is available, enable the Wi-Fi option on your device and search for the available Wi-Fi network. Connect to the network and enter the login details, which may include the username and password or a voucher code, provided by the airline.
- Enjoy the Internet: Once connected, you can browse the Internet, check your emails, and access social media as you would with any other Wi-Fi network.
It is important to note that in-flight Wi-Fi service may not be available throughout the flight, especially during takeoff and landing or if the airplane is flying over areas with poor or no network coverage. Also, the speed and quality of the in-flight Wi-Fi service may vary depending on the network availability and the number of users connected to the network.
