Standing at over 250 meters tall, Ain Dubai is the latest landmark to join Dubai’s skyline of record-breaking attractions. Offering unique views of the city’s iconic landmarks from indoor, air-conditioned cabins, du’s network will further enhance experiences for countless guests.

Given that Ain Dubai constantly rotates, the wheel structure makes it impossible for classical wired indoor mobile solutions to be implemented. However, du’s mobile broadband network has enabled the leading telco provider to deploy a state-of-art, wireless, and 5G-backed smart solution within all 48 of Ain Dubai’s cabins.

A 5G network will enable new experiences and change the way we live, work, and play through:

• Faster speeds – 5G  is  set  to  be  much  faster  than  previous  networks, with speeds as much as 20 times faster than 4G, at up to 10 Gbps. This means having the ability to download a full HD movie in under 10 seconds, compared to 10 minutes on 4G.

The du 5G Network will be available initially in all the main landmark and downtown areas in both Abu Dhabi & Dubai. The 5G Network from du will also extend to selected locations in other Emirates before the end of the year. Shortly, du will publish the Digital maps showing the detailed coverage areas of du state of the art 5G Network.
