From August 3, 2021, a new option “Unlimited Messengers on the Peninsula” will be available for Tele2 subscribers traveling to Sevastopol and Crimea. It will allow you to use instant messengers while on the territory of the republic, without consuming the Internet package.
Service activation is free. Its cost when using messengers Viber, TamTam, WhatsApp in Crimea is 50 rubles per day. The subscription fee is debited only on the days when the client enters the official messenger applications. The service is provided at a speed not exceeding 32 Kbps – this is enough for comfortable correspondence in messengers. Viewing and sending video files, listening to and sending voice messages at the specified speed are not guaranteed.
When using the service, access to other Internet resources, including clicking on links from instant messengers, is limited. To resume using the Internet at high speed, you will need to deactivate the service.
The service “Unlimited Messengers on the Peninsula” can be activated on the number simultaneously with the options “Internet on the Peninsula” and / or “Light Internet on the Peninsula”, which provide preferential tariffication in the Republic of Crimea and Sevastopol. Their work will be suspended until the “Unlimited Messengers on the Peninsula” service is disabled, while the subscription fee for the “Easy Internet on the Peninsula” option will continue to be charged until the service is disabled.
