These European countries have the best mobile communications

Telia Company has ranked first among European mobile operators with 935 points as best mobile network in Europe, followed by Vodafone Netherlands with 931 points and Swisscom in third position with 927 points, in a test carried out by the magazine Connect in partnership with Umlaut, previously P3 Communications.

Connect did country rating too. In order to determine ranking, they have determined the respective average of points for all active providers for each country represented. The resulting ranking shows the country overview.

When we look at this, it naturally has an impact that, in addition to strong market leaders, weaker providers are also active in some countries. The fact that the Netherlands wins here can also be explained by its mobile-friendly topography.

In contrast, North Macedonia, surprisingly strong in second place, is already significantly mountainous. This applies to Austria (third place) and Switzerland (fourth place) anyway.

Slovakia is also not exactly flat – whereas Finland does not have very high mountains, but it does have extensive forests. But both also make mobile operators’ jobs a little easier because populated areas and main traffic routes are more concentrated.  europe best mobile communications
