Vietnam launches online portal to facilitate eVisa on Arrival
VFS Global has entered into a partnership with the Embassy of Vietnam to launch the first official digital Vietnam eVisa on Arrival (eVOA) solution, with the signing of a MoU on cooperation for tourism promotion and facilitation of human mobility.
Eligible travelers can apply for the Vietnam eVisa on Arrival service before departure to Vietnam by submitting their applications on official portal from a location of their choice anywhere in the world through their personal handsets or computers, in a highly secure manner.
The advanced and digitally integrated solution developed by VFS Global (as an exclusive service provider to the Embassy of Vietnam in India) will offer eVOA applicants a digital wallet/locker (which ensures high levels of data protection).
This includes scanned copies of their passport, live facial biometric capture and finally, the receipt of their eVOA approval letters once approved. Customers can also make online payments using the portal.
For those who seek a visa urgently to visit Vietnam, the choice of special priority services on the same day (as well as next day approvals) is now available on this officially recognized online solution. the price of the priority services is slightly higher than the price of the normal visa processing service.
