In SIM card technology, operator profile and physical SIM are presented as a single product, while eSIM separates embedded card and operator profile. In this way, more than one profile can be found on a single card and the card can be programmed remotely.
In addition to providing cost savings, production flexibility and logistics advantages in the eSIM IoT field; It will also offer consumers a new generation customer experience on devices that are frequently used in daily life, such as mobile phones and tablets.

Both new generation mobile phones (currently Apple iPhone XS, XS Max, XR, 11 Series, 12 Series; Samsung Note 20, Note 20 Ultra, Z Fold 2, Galaxy S20, Galaxy S20+, Galaxy S20 Ultra, Galaxy S21, Galaxy S21+, Galaxy S21 Ultra; Huawei P40, P40 Pro, Mate 40 Pro) as well as tools, POS, counters, etc. for our corporate customers. eSIM support is provided for IoT devices.
There is no smartwatch support yet.
The devices must be guaranteed by Türk Telekom or the manufacturer in Turkey. Otherwise, compatibility problems may occur.
How to Activate eSIM? turk telekom esim
Individual Subscribers
- Go to Türk Telekom Office/Dealer
- After choosing the most suitable tariff for you and signing the subscription agreement, a QR code will appear on the screen of our dealer employee.
- Open your phone’s Settings
- Go to the «Cellular» tab
- Click on «Add Cellular Plan»
- Scan the QR code that our dealer employee will show with your phone camera.
- Your eSIM is installed and you are ready to use! You can learn your PIN and PUK information from the call center.
- Your eSIM is installed and ready to use! PIN and PUK information are on the activation card.
Corporate Subscribers
- Submit your eSIM request with your corporate customer representative and get your eSIM activation card with QR code
- Open your phone’s Settings
- Go to the «Cellular» tab
- Click on «Add Cellular Plan»
- From the screen that opens, read the QR code on your Türk Telekom eSIM activation card with your phone camera.
