Under this new partnership, subscribers of Zain and Omantel networks from Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Iraq, Bahrain, Sudan, South Sudan, and Oman will benefit from preferential roaming rates when using Touch’s network in Lebanon. This initiative is designed to alleviate concerns about high roaming fees, allowing travelers to maintain their existing numbers without the need to purchase local SIM cards or eSIMs.

While specific rate details have not been disclosed, the agreement underscores Touch’s commitment to providing cost-effective and seamless connectivity solutions for visitors.

Strengthening Lebanon’s Regional Telecom Presence

This collaboration is part of Touch’s broader strategy to reestablish Lebanon’s role in the regional telecommunications landscape, particularly within the Gulf region. By enhancing roaming services and network coverage, Touch aims to attract more visitors and business travelers, thereby contributing to the country’s economic recovery.

Currently, Touch maintains roaming agreements with 425 international GSM operators across 191 countries, including partnerships with operators in the Gulf, the Arab world, Europe, and the United States. The company is actively working on technical upgrades and pricing reforms to make its international services more appealing and competitive.
