Starting March 28, 2024, this promo is available in a new version that, compared to the previous TIM One Number x Young option, which allowed you to obtain the same discounted price, provides some differences mainly for the points of sale.

What is TIM ‘One Number’?

TIM’s ‘One Number‘ service utilizes eSIM technology to share your existing phone number and mobile data plan across multiple devices. This is a major boon for smartwatch users, allowing them to ditch their phones while still receiving calls, texts, and notifications directly on their wrists.

Benefits for Young Users

The newly discounted price point makes TIM ‘One Number’ incredibly accessible for students and young professionals. Staying connected across devices streamlines communication and offers a greater sense of freedom, especially for those with active lifestyles.

How to Take Advantage TIM ‘One Number’ eSIM Service

If you’re a TIM customer aged 25 or under, you can likely add the ‘One Number’ service at a discounted rate through your online TIM account, the TIM app, or by visiting a TIM store in person.

To subscribe to the standard TIM Young offer, new customers can either activate a new number or request portability from any other operator. Furthermore, the offer is also available for existing customers of the operator, always with the same age limit.

As regards TIM Young Full, i.e. the version with a discounted monthly cost available only in shops, in this case, to activate it you must request portability from Iliad, Fastweb, PosteMobile, CoopVoce, and other virtual operators (excluding Kena, I Mobile and Very Mobile).

Compatible devices indicated by TIM

It is always specified that One Number can only be used on some compatible devices, as indicated on the TIM website page dedicated to the service.

Currently, the smartwatches are as follows: Apple Watch Series 7, Apple Watch Series 8 GPS+Cellular, Apple Watch Ultra, Apple Watch SE 2022 GPS+Cellular, Apple Watch Series 9, Apple Watch Ultra 2, Samsung Galaxy Watch4 Classic, Samsung Galaxy Watch4 Active, Samsung Galaxy Watch5, Samsung Galaxy Watch5 Pro, Samsung Galaxy Watch6 LTE 40mm, and Samsung Galaxy Watch6 Classic LTE 47mm.

As regards smartphones, as indicated on the operator’s website, to use the service on compatible Apple smartwatch models, it is necessary to use an Apple iPhone smartphone with the iOS operating system starting from version 15.2 (already present in iPhone 6s models in Then).

To use the service on Samsung smartwatches, however, the pairing of an exclusively Samsung smartphone is required (with Android 6.0 or higher operating system and with at least 1.5GB of RAM ).

TIM Continues to Embrace Connectivity

This discount underscores TIM’s commitment to providing innovative and affordable solutions for its customers. The move is likely to see increased adoption of eSIM technology and smartwatch usage among younger demographics.
